Hi, we're Aurora and Ryan,

We first became outdoor enthusiasts in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where we grew up. The only thing we weren't enthusiastic about was the abundant RAIN which dampened our horsebackriding. Something (maybe rumors about a bright thing up in the sky) drew us to Colorado, Aurora's birthplace and home of her ancestors. We packed up the horses, waved goodbye to the Cascades and headed for the Rockies. The amazing landscapes, outdoor lifestyle and SUNSHINE brought us to Pagosa in 2005.

Upon our arrival it immediately felt like home. We take every chance we get to pack our horses into the high country or dash through the winter snow. Afterward we take a relaxing soak in the hot springs. We truly appreciate everything that life has to offer in Pagosa. We feel fortunate that what brings us joy also allows us to enhance other peoples lives while in this little known paradise.
